1- Day 306

2- Day 307

3- Day 308

4- Day 309

5- Day 310

6- Day 311

7- Day 312
Sophie is rolling a lot today - looks like she doesn't like the way the foal is sitting.  Udder is developing.
8- Day 313
9- Day 314

Sophie has been rolling a lot again today.  Udder slightly larger.  Hindquarters have really dropped off.
10- Day 315

Sophie is very wide - the photos are somewhat deceptive since they don't show her width.  Some udder increase.
11- Day 316

Sophie's back end has flattened out/dropped off.  The foal is still very high and wide.
12- Day 317

Sophie has been rolling (explains the mud!).  Muscle tone is gone by her tail, she has hollows next to her tail-head.
13- Day 318

Some udder change today - nowhere near foal ready but changing.

.
14- Day 319

Udder a bit fuller.  Sophie has been laying down much of today - she's slowed down now.  Appetite good, oddly interested in different smells tonight.
15- Day 320
16- Day 321
17- Day 322
18- Day 323
19- Day 324

Sophie is acting very odd, rolling and off her feed, but not colic-like.  Checked milk, still clear and not foal ready.
20- Day 325

Finally some change in the udder.  Nowhere near foal ready, but at least it's going the right direction!
21- Day 326

A bit more udder.  Sophie is acting like a mare getting close although her udder says she's a few weeks out.
22- Day 327

Udder changed today, starting to fill.  Milk is still clear but is more plentiful.  Sophie is still acting odd.
23- Day 328

Milk is now cloudy, more plentiful.  Udder isn't full yet but moving in the right direction.  Sophie is still odd..
24- Day 329

Mucus discharge today.  Udder developed some, not a lot.  Sophie is very odd, slowed down.  Appetite is off..
25- Day 330

Sophie acts much closer than her udder says she is.

26 - Day 331

Mucus & blood discharge.  Sophie is very odd.  Milk is translucent, slightly cloudy.  Not on calcium scale.
27 - Day 332

Continued discharge.  Sophie stands funny - clearly feeling a lot of foal pressure.  No change to milk, udder slightly fuller.
28 - Day 333

Udder substantially larger, although milk still under 50 PPM calcium.  Lots of "squirrel tail" and belly kicking.  Coming down the home stretch.
29 - Day 334

Udder is now filling, Milk not on calcium scale yet, lots of it.  Still yellow, translucent but becoming cloudy.
30 - Day 335

Udder took a big jump in size.  Milk is still yellow, translucent, slightly cloudy.  Not on the scale yet (but soon)

July
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday

1- Day 336
Just on the calcium scale.  Sophie is acting like she's in labor tonight - pacing/sweaty.  Camera is on, we'll monitor through the night even though the calcium says "no"

2- Day 337

Slightly more calcium.  Udder 'deflated' today and actually shrunk.  Tonight, Sophie is pacing, sweaty and off her feed again.  Camera on even though calcium says "no"

3- Day 338
Calcium slightly increased.  Udder is changing shape, the teats are becoming quite elongated.  She's pacing, sweaty, off her feed still.  Camera is on, we'll monitor because of the odd behavior.

4- Day 339
Calcium unchanged.  Teats starting to fill, udder quite full/heavy.  Milk is still yellow and translucent.  Still off her feed and acting odd.  Camera on tonight again even though the calcium hasn't jumped yet..

5- Day 340
Calcium at 65 PPM.  Milk is still yellow but becoming cloudy.  Still off her feed.  She's having periods of sweating/pacing.  Lots of rolling during turnout today.  Getting closeer.
6- Day 341

Calcium at about 125 PPM.  Udder is filling down to the teats.  Milk is mostly white, becoming opaque.  Won't be too much longer now.
7- Day 342

Calcium at about 350 PPM.  Milk is white, opaque and looks foal ready.  Flows easily, lots of milk.  Not much longer before we meet the foal.
8 - Day 343

It's a FILLY!  Great Job, Sophie!
