Sophie has been
with us since 1999. She's a lively and interesting mare, who
never seems to make a false step. Fun to ride, Sophie is
so well balanced that she makes even a poor rider look good!

Things we like about
Sophie:

Style. Sophie is a very
elegant and stylish mare. She moves with
grace
and balance. We have never seen her stumble or move on the wrong
lead.
- Personality. Sophie is interesting
and colorful. She is bright and mischievous. She
also is our favorite "baby sitter" mare and takes care of foals at
weaning. She has been Highwater
Bay's
surrogate mother since Cinchy passed away.

Balance. All
of Sophie's features are nicely balanced. She has a lovely neck and is very
correct.

Overall appeal.
Sophie is
a lovely horse, with a refined head. She is
15.3 hands.
- Sophie has
a short back with very powerful hindquarters.

Things we're hoping to
improve with the Shire:

Sophie
raced...and won over $250,000! That
racing background still shows! The Shire should "cool" her offspring down a
bit.
